My one and only Nettie Elizabeth Holley Sherman, Beth, 68, passed away June 21, 2011. She was born July 3, 1942 to Roy and Isabelle Holley, in Alhambra, California. She graduated from Sierra High School in Whittier, CA. She then married Wayne Sherman also in Whittier, CA. on April 9, 1961; and had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Beth was a musician and artist in every way. She was a member of Bahai faith. She loved taking care and spending time with her family. She was also the Mother of the neighborhood. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, five children, Dianne D. Roberts, Ogden, UT., Phillip W. Sherman, Ogden, UT., Peter A. (Kristeen) Sherman, Winchester, VA., Laura L. Sherman, Ogden, UT., Paul R. Sherman, Beaver, UT., brothers, Luther L. (Page) Holley, Taos, NM., Larry (Doris) Nelson, Sequim, WA., sister, Kathleen Blodgett, Glendora, CA., 8 grandchildren. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, and stepfather William Webb. A celebration of Beths life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1380 North 2100 West, Layton, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.Cremation under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
