Norma Jones Barnes, age 75 of Ogden Utah returned to her loving Father in Heaven on April 13, 2013. Norma was born in Ogden, Utah to Hyrum Keldith Barnes and Rozalean Ellen Henderson on 10 Jun 1937. She was the 4th born child of 5, Roy (Cleo) Barnes, Bountiful Utah (both deceased); Virgil (Eldeen) Barnes, West Point Utah (Virgil deceased); Maxine (Allison) Beckmann, Tremonton Utah (both deceased); and Doris (Richard) Klein, St Joseph MO (Richard deceased).Norma married Arlen Earl Jones, in the Salt Lake Temple on 22 Jan 1953 and they had three children; Cindy Lee Jones born 18 Oct 1953, in Ogden Utah, died 10 Jul 1990; Kevin Ray Jones born 13 Jan 1955, in Ogden Utah and Gerald Keith Jones born 29 July 1956, in Ogden Utah, died 18 Aug 1956. Norma and Arlen were later divorced. She married Herbert Donald Seager of Ogden Utah on 21st Day of Aug 1964, they later divorced. Norma was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holding various callings including a mission at the Family History Center. She loved doing Genealogy and researching the family she so loved. She always had a story about a distant relative or a loved church leader. She never missed an opportunity to attend the temple; she so loved spending time in the temples and was a recommend holder even up to her death. She loved to do needle work, knitting or crocheting. It seemed everywhere she went she had her bag of yarn and was working on a new project which she usually gave away to others. She was a member of the Utah Daughters of the Pioneers and loved going on adventures and outings with these wonderful women. She was proceeded in death by her two children, Cindy and Gerald; her parents; her brothers Virgil and Roy; and her Sister Maxine (Mickie). She is survived by her son, Kevin Ray Jones of Hooper Utah who is married to Shelly Odekirk Jones; three grandchildren Cassandra (Cody) Nielsen of Hooper Utah; Tana (Jeff) Lynch of Hooper Utah; and Ashley (Crystal) Jones of Roy Utah; and 6 great grandchildren: Bailey, Tailor, Dekon, Kasidy, Paegen and Riley. She is also survived by loving sisters Doris and Eldeen (sister in law); and many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the angels of Hospice for Utah and Washington Terrace Care Center. Also to her many friends at the Gardens. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 18th 2013, 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street Ogden UT, where also family will greet friends on Wednesday April 17th from 6:00-8:00pm and Thursday prior to service from 10:00-10:45am. Interment will follow at Aultorest Memorial Park.
