Norma Jean Peterson Davis, 81, passed away peacefully November 21, 2015 after a lingering illness. She was born December 25, 1933 to William and Henrietta Peterson in Warren, Utah. Norma graduated from Ogden High School. She married Roy Davis Jr. on April 19, 1957, in Elko, Nevada. Norma retired from Hill AFB and ZCMI. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, trips to Wendover, the Clinton City Senior Lunches and she had many friends there. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and several bowling leagues prior to her illness. Norma is survived by her daughters, Lynda (Jeff) Webster, Sue (Jim) Obin, and sons, Mike (Jean) Davis, and Dennis Davis, her grandchildren, Carissa, ReSha, Alexandra, Michael, Julie, Jackie, and Steven, 14 great grandchildren, her sister, Verla Miles, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, her parents, her brothers, Howard, Lee, Clair, and Kenneth, and granddaughter, Kimberly. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Rocky Mountain Care and Hospice for the outstanding and loving care they provided her. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
