Norma Stevens Bass Haney Goggins, 94, passed away on Sept. 3, 2024 in Ogden, Utah. She was born on Feb. 1, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to Frank Joseph Stevens Jr. & Ardella Hokanson.

She spent most of her life in Ogden, Utah, but after retirement lived in Star Valley Wyoming for a short time and then moved to Washington, Utah and spent several years living there enjoying the warm weather and having her family come visit in the cold winter months.

She enjoyed making jewelry and doing crafts of many types. For many years she sold her creations at craft fairs. She also loved to share what she had made with family and friends. Many afghans and quilts were produced for her family. Playing cards was her passion and you could find her up at all hours of the night doing puzzles. Nothing brought her more joy and happiness than spending time with her family.

Norma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and valued the time she could spend in the Temple.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Darrell Bass, William Haney, and Glen Goggins; two siblings, Joseph Wayne Stevens and Marion (Fenno) Schade.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine Wilcox of Ogden and one brother-in-law, Fenno Schade of Ogden; four children: Lyle (Jeanne) Bass, Larry (Karen) Bass, Cristine (Leon) Rogers, Clark (Nancy) Bass; 18 Grandchildren, 62 Great-grandchildren and five Great Great Grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00-1:45 at Leavitt's Mortuary. Private Family services will be held.
