Norma O’Conner's Obituary

Norma T. OConnor March 31, 1919 - February 8, 2014 On February 8, 2014, after a long look back at her beautiful legacy, Norma T. OConnor took the waiting hands of her family and friends and went forward on her next adventure. It was hard for her to leave her beautiful life and precious grandchildren. All of her grandchildren were with as she took her last breath. She wasnt scared because Erinn was holding her hand and never left her side. Norma was born to Henry Earl and Rosella Tribe on March 31, 1919. She was the youngest sibling of older brothers Howard, Wayne and big sister Virginia. Norma attended Ogden High School and Weber College. On February 10, 1948 , Norma married the love of her life, Joseph Richard "Dick" OConnor. Johnny and Suzan were the proud result of this union. Dick passed away in 1983. When her beloved Johnny passed away Norma had a passionate purpose in life, to help raise her grandchildren. She did an excellent job and their lives were forever better because of her. Norma was an avid golfer all of her life. She also loved to read and do crossword puzzles. Norma always demonstrated a perfect example of generosity and unconditional love. Normas legacy is here to continue on and make her proud. She is survived by her daughter Suzan OConnor, San Antonio, Texas, daughter in law Anabeth OConnor, and grandchildren Elizabeth Sparks, Katy (Michael) Rodrigues, Erinn (Adam) Lutz, Molly OConnor, and Joseph Patrick OConnor, and her nine greatest gifts, great children, Kaden, Kenzlee, Nick, Cooper, Myles "meyers", Malia, Mason "martin", Peyton and Olivia-all of Ogden.
