Norma Jean Zito, passed away March 4, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Normas life began on July 17, 1926 in Coleville, Utah. Her wonderful parents were Sidney and Catherine Smith. Norma was the third of seven children. After enjoying her childhood years in Coleville, her family moved to Pocatello, Idaho and then to Ogden. Her family lived in a beautiful home that served as a gathering place for this happy family for many years. During W.W.II, Norma and her sister, Orla Mae, worked at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. This was a great experience for them. After the war, she returned to Utah and married Van Green. They had three sons, John, Wilson, and Robert. Twenty years later, they divorced. She worked for SH Green Stamps as the manager of the Centerville store and then for Bountiful City. She married Teddy Zito in 1979 and had a happy life with him until his death in 1994.Normas family includes her sons, daughters-in-law: Shirlene and Sandi, her brothers, Sid, Glenn and Tom and their wives, Shirley, Carol (deceased) and Pat. She has three sisters, Renee (deceased), Orla (Lou, husband) and Kay (deceased) (Clair, husband). Norma has 18 grandchildren and soon to be 41 great grandchildren. Thanks to Jesus Christ, she will have another life to enjoy. Normas viewing will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden; from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the mortuary. Entombment will be held at Leavitts Aultorest Mausoleum.
