Olela Faye Fisher Jones, 85 of West Haven, went to be with her husband Lonnie Jones on January 3, 2013. Olela was born on March 21, 1927 in Breen, Co. to Marvin and Cassandra Ross Fisher. She was one of five children in that marriage. Her mom passed away when she was two and her father later remarried Edith Alynne Conner. She loved her new mom and her other ten siblings that came from that marriage. Olela knew Lonnie most of her life and they were married July 18, 1944 in Colorado, She was a Navy wife for over twenty years, they traveled all over the country where they had three children. They settled in Layton, Utah after his retirement until 1978 when they moved to Hesperus, Colorado. She loved to tell stories about being a navy chiefs wife and all the places they had been. She always helped anyone she could and enjoyed spending time with her family. After Lonnie passed away in January 1995, she continued living on the mountain until March 2007 when she came to live with her granddaughter Tammy Cevering in West Haven, Utah until her passing. Olela was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie A. Jones, her parents, five brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her three children Cassandra Olela Streett, Barbara Ann Jones, Roy Dale (Lorinda) Jones, ten grandchildren Tamara Cevering, Michelle (Bernie) Bickerton, Cheryl (Larry) Rupp, Todd Wheeler, Robert (Irene) Ricks, Tony Ricks, Tammara Jones, Kaylee Jones, Nechell Jensen and Erica Jones. She also leaves behind twenty three great grandchildren and eight great - great grandchildren, one on the way, and eight brothers and sisters. There will be a celebration of her life and dinner Friday January 11, 2013 at the Wilson 2nd Ward 2333 South 2700 West, West Haven, Utah from 6-9 pm.Cremation under the direction of Leavitts Mortaury.
