Oliver Glenn MendezMarch 8, 2011 ~ March 17, 2011Our sweet angel returned to his Father in Heavens open arms after a brief stay with his earthly family. He passed away peacefully at home, due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. While his mortal life was short, his wonderful spirit left an impression on those who loved him which will be felt for an eternity. Those who were touched by him understand that the quality of ones life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. We rejoice, knowing that he is no longer burdened by his condition and know that he lives on, his earthly mission completed. He is survived by his loving parents, Oscar and Story Mendez, as well as each of his grandparents, Keith and Charlotte Williams, and Eduardo and Estrella Mendez. Also living are his aunt and each of his uncles, in addition to great grandparents, great aunts and great uncles, second cousins and many other family members. Preceding him in death are his great grandparents, Prudencio Juarez-Velazco, Ofelia Ramirez-Navarro, and Virginia Williams. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made through America First Credit Union under Olivers name.
