Orn Douangdara, born on February 2, 1934, in Laos, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 90.

Born to her loving parents, Thit Kham and Bouasy, Orn was the last surviving child of eight siblings: Tu Noi, Pa Uan, Pa Pane, Pa Nuun, Tu Mah, Tu Tieng, and Tu Hieng. Though her siblings preceded her in death, their bond remained a cherished part of her life, and she carried their memories with her until her final days.

Orn's life was a testament to resilience, love, and strength. She was deeply rooted in her heritage and carried the values of her culture with grace and pride. Those who knew her were touched by her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Phounsavath Phitsnoukanh, Viengsavan Phitsnoukanh, Songkam Douangdara, Sanam Douangdara, Samrane Matotek (deceased), Haohane Douangdara, and Samantha Douangdara. Her legacy continues through her great and great-great-grandchildren: Tanisha Phitsnoukanh, Jaimie Phitsnoukanh, Andy Phitsnoukanh, Xee Thao, Brooklynn Phitsnoukanh, Zeven Taffolla, Leslie Lee, Katy Lee, and Jolene Lee.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. The funeral service will follow the Sunday viewing from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
