Patricia Ann Barron's Obituary

Our beloved sister, aunt & friend lost her short but valiant battle with central nervous system lymphoma on June 6, 2015 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born January 19, 1946 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Francis & Lillian Barron. She graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1964. After moving to Ogden, Utah with her family in 1965, Pat graduated from Weber State College in 1968 with a degree in Elementary Education. Pat taught school in Redlands, California and Roosevelt Elementary School in Washington Terrace. She then pursued a career at IRS, retiring in 2002. Following retirement, Pat volunteered at the Scottish Rite Childrens Learning Center, North Park Elementary and Antelope Elementary. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ogden. She also belonged to Queen Esther Chapter #4 Order of Eastern Star. Pat was a member of the Wildcat Club. She enjoyed traveling and attending concerts and sporting events with her friend of many years, Roscoe. Her greatest love was doing for her family and taking care of children. She is survived by her siblings, Sue (Jack) Munns, Barbara (Rick) Hess, David (Annette) Barron, Nancy (Darrell) Storey, Scott (Amy) Barron and their families. Also survived by her companion, Roscoe Stack and his children and grandchildren that she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Carl Gray, Dr. Dennis Winters, the 5th floor Oncology staff at McKay-Dee and the staff at Stonehenge of Ogden for their excellent care during Pats final days.
