IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Lorraine
Schow
September 26, 1940 – March 5, 2026
Patricia Lorraine Schow, 85, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026. Born on September 26, 1940, Pat spent much of her younger life in Ogden, where she met the love of her life, Stanley Peter Schow. Together, Pat and Stan built a beautiful life centered around their 8 children, raising their family primarily in the California Bay Area, with time spent in Pebble Beach, San Jose, and Sunnyvale before returning to Utah.
Pat's life was one of service — in every sense of the word. While she worked in various server capacities throughout her career, that spirit of serving others extended far beyond any job. It was simply who she was. A devoted Catholic, Pat was deeply active in her local church as a Eucharistic Minister, living out her faith through daily acts of love and generosity.
Her true calling, however, was family. Pat poured her heart into caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with a warmth and devotion that touched everyone around her. But her love didn't stop at her own front door. Pat had a gift for opening her home to anyone in need — offering a place to stay, a warm meal, or simply an open ear and a compassionate heart. If you needed someone, Pat was there.
Beautiful inside and out, Pat lost the love of her life too soon when Stan preceded her in death. Through that heartbreak and every challenge that followed, she showed remarkable strength and faced each day with an unmistakable zest for life. Her resilience, her laughter, and her unwavering faith inspired all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her 8 children: Danna, Debbie (Mark), Donette (John), Peter (Lisa), Dione (Mike), Darla (Sam), Mark (Amy), and Denielle; her 22 grandchildren: Mark, Jonathan, Sarah, Alexis, Anna, Alora, Nicole, Michael, John, Lorraine, Lisa, Susan, Perry, Kenny, Myles, Brooklyn, Owen, Tayler, Camryn, Stone, Devyn, and Olivia; as well as numerous great-grandchildren who adored their "Grandma Pat." She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Peter Schow.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held later this summer.
Details will be shared with family and friends as arrangements are finalized.
