Patti Sue Cardon's Obituary

Patti Sue Cardon, 60, passed away on June 4, 2016. Patti was born February 15, 1956 to Ray and Jeanne Cardon in Ogden, Utah. Patti graduated from Weber State University. She married Mike Welker on February 2, 1979. They were later divorced but remained close. Pattis life took an agonizing turn after back surgery was performed on her, resulting in numerous reconstructions of her back and associated problems. She tried hard to always keep her chin up along with her spirits. Through all of the pain, she persevered, making and inspiring many friends along the way. Patti worked for years as a claims agent for Allstate, while also working for the Forest Service as a dispatcher every fall. She donated much of her time to womens crisis issues at the YWCA. A beautiful accomplished and caring person has left us. We will all miss her dearly. Patti is survived by her son, Braden Welker; sister, Nancy (Duane) Watson; brothers, Kelly and Randy Cardon; granddaughter, Adyson Jade Welker and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her son, Matt Welker; parents, and grandparents. A Celebration of her Life will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 5:30 PM at the Ogden Golf and Country Club, 4197 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
