Paul M. Covell was born in St. Paul Minnesota on December 22, 1942, to Margaret and Louis Covell and later went into foster care. He passed away January 24, 2024.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Rickie, his parents, his foster mother Lilian Hamilton, his son Richard Covell, his daughter Carol Gallegos, his granddaughters Katie and Jordyn, his great grandsons Ryker and Bently.

Paul is survived by his children, Tracy Covell, Michael Covell (Michaela), Daren Covell (Jackie), Holly Thomas (George), Stacy Smith (Brian), David Covell (Cherie), 25 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Paul joined the Air Force in August 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1968. He then joined the Sunset Police Dept. and later moved to Clearfield Police Dept. Paul retired from Hill Air Force Base when he was 55 and went back to school where he earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal Justice/Law Enforcement.

Paul was also in the Air Force Reserves. Paul loved to play games and go camping and family get-togethers.

Paul was a die-hard Viking fan and loved to watch the Utah Jazz.

Paul never won but loved to play the lotto.
