Paul W. Marriott, 68, Passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, with his twin sister holding his hand.
Paul was born on August 15, 1957 in Ogden to Benjamin Marriott and Joan Marriott Peterson. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1975 and then attended Weber State College for a couple years. Paul went on to his career as a Lead Inspector at Williams International in Ogden, retiring at age 65 in 2023.
He married Zanaya Caldwell in Ogden in 2009. Zanaya passed away on December 18 2024. Paul lost the love of his life, and he deeply missed her.
In his life he had many hobbies such as golf and skiing, but one of his main passions in life was Corvettes. He owned a couple over the years and loved driving them when he had a chance.
Paul is preceded in Death by Zanaya (wife), Joan Peterson (mother), Benjamin Marriott (father), Vern Peterson (step-father), and Janice Marriott Shrope (sister).
He is survived by siblings Pam (Tim) McLaughlin (his twin), Mark (Stacy) Marriott, Laurie (Bob) Harmon, and Zanaya's children Bobbette Merchant, Jeffrey Nielsen, Brandi Hinkley, and Stephanie Mecham. Also, many nieces, nephews, and Zanaya's many grand-children.
Graveside services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, on November 15th at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of life will immediately follow in Leavitt's Atrium, where a light lunch will be served.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests that you plant a tree in his honor.
We will miss his keen sense of humor and his laugh. The family would like to thank everyone for flowers, cards, texts, phone calls and concerns expressed at these difficult times.
