IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul
Packer
August 17, 1953 – January 8, 2025
Paul L Packer, 71, of Clearfield, passed away surrounded by family at home on January 8, 2025.
He was born to Lavon and Marilyn Packer on August 17, 1953, in Ogden, Utah. After Paul graduated from Clearfield High School, he went on the study sociology at Weber State University.
Paul served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Nevada and Northern California area. When he returned home, he met his wife, Denise, and was married August 6th, 1976 in the Salt Lake City temple. They later received two beautiful children, Nathan and Amber, who brought a lot of joy and blessings to their lives.
Paul worked at FMC Jetway for several years where he met countless good and dear friends. He retired from FMC Jetway in 2017.
Paul loved spending time with family, going on scenic drives, and hunting and fishing to spend time with his favorite people and enjoy nature.
He was a big fan of 60s and 70s music plus anything that was funny. We never had regular Christmas songs because he enjoyed things like the album "Twisted Christmas" and songs by Weird Al. Paul had such a fun sense of humor and had a passion for making people laugh. No one was excluded from his teasing or cracking of jokes, whether you were family, a friend or the cashier at the grocery store, it was his mission to make you smile.
Paul had a strong testimony of the Church and the Savior. He tried to set a good example each and every day. Paul was able to touch so many lives and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavon and Marilyn, and his brother, Mark.
He is survived by his wife, Denise, his son and daughter, Nathan and Amber, his bothers, Dale, Greg (Sue), Les, Kelly, Scott, Jimmy (Wendy), and a multitude of cherished nieces and nephews, many of which he thought of as his own children.
