In 1999 she went to work as a Seasonal for the Utah State Tax Commission, Processing Divison, and was hired full-time in 1999; she retired in 2010. Pearl was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and recently took out her endowments in the Bountiful, UT Temple. She was a loving sister, aunt and special friend to many. Pearl is survived by her siblings: Jack (Mattie) Galvez (Clifton, CO); Grace Montao (Capulin, CO); Kenneth (Maxine) Galvez (La Jara, CO); Opal Burris (SLC, UT); Lazelle (Jan) Galvez (Spokane, WA); sister-in-law Polly Galvez (La Jara, CO) and brother-in-law Armando Ramos (Alamosa, CA).
