Philbert Erlin Gallegos, 72, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was born December 5, 1942 to Jose Carlos and Lilly M. Gallegos in Ogden, Utah. Philbert attended schools in Ogden. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and the mountains. He also enjoyed traveling and gardening. Philbert is survived by two sons, David Gallegos and Nino Emerzian, a daughter Gina (Kirk) Hancock, and two step-sons Damian and Mondo Portillio, grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Bertha (Joe) Jacques, Francis Chacon, Orlando Gallegos, Mary (Carlos) Martinez, Diana Allard, John (Benita) Gallegos, Helen (Mel) Hoffman, June (Tony) Severin, and several nieces and nephews. Philbert is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 17th from 10:00-12:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
