Our witty, independent and feisty mom and grandma, Phyllis Oliver gave it her all for over 92 years and left this Earth early Thursday morning to be with her husband and daughter. Phyllis came from a large family of seven siblings and was married to her teenage sweetheart for over 60 years. She worked during WWII at McCarren AFB as a crew chief working on B52s. Later Phyllis became a cashier at Smiths Food King, working directly for her friend, Dee Smith. Phyllis leaves behind two sons, Dennis (Dee) Oliver and Troy Oliver, a handful of grandkids, Lani, Shon, Eric, Tori, Shea, Kristi and Lori, some great-grandkids, and even some great-great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Oliver and daughter, Jeri Rosas. Her final words included a lament on why "that Trump cannot be president" and a reminder that racial prejudice should not be tolerated. A simple Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
