May 31, 1910 ~ January 29, 2011Rachel Ann Brimhall Atwood, was the daughter of Ether R. and Sophrinia Smith Brimhall. She married Lynn Carpenter in 1931. They were later divorced. She then married the love of her life Albert A. Atwood in 1938.Moms last days were in good and loving hands at the Mt. Ogden Health Care nursing home. Mom loved to bowl and bowled till she was 93. She also enjoyed trips to Wendover with her daughter and friends. She is survived by her children; Glen Atwood, Ted and Donna Salerno, Vern and Ann Carpenter Schwitzer, Ted and Donna Lynn Salerno, Richard Atwood and Carol Harrington-Atwood, also her grandchildren; Rikkie Broadbent Coley, Treavor Atwood, Jay and Sarah Cole and Brian Nicholls, great grandchildren; Skyler Atwood, Breeanna Cutlip, Samantha Atwood, Kathryn Trauex, Jay Trauex, Rodger McCamey, Kennedy Coley.Preceding her in death were her husband, mother and father, three sisters, and eight brothers, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be held Friday February 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
