Ralph Lee Rackham, 83, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 of natural causes. He was born October 6, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to Vernie Henry Rackham and Grace Mildred Cherry. On June 16, 1950, Ralph married Luciele Van De Graaff in Ogden, Utah. Ralph retired from Ogden City after working many years at the airport. He had many businesses and every day was a work day. He had a special talent of making everyone feel like they were important. Surviving Ralph are two daughters, Janet (Rich) Loper and Jennifer Rackham; two sons, Mike (Linda) Rackham and Lee (Blythe) Rackham; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerald (Hazel) Rackham; and two sisters, Alice Proctor and Vivian Rackham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luciele, parents, and three brothers, Karl Rackham, Paul Rackham, and Arthur Rackham. We would like to especially thank Dr. Gregory Almony and Dr. Stephen Bruce for their professionalism and kindness toward Ralph. Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will be at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
