Obituary

Raul Meza, aged 54, passed away on September 22, 2023. Raul was born to Jesus and Martha Meza in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. He was raised in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from Dobson High School in 1988. He worked with his fathers business until 1996, when he joined the United States Air Force as a mechanic. In June of 2000, Raul married Miriam, the love of his life. Three beautiful daughters were born from this union. Raul retired from the Air Force after 20 years. He then worked as a civilian mechanic at Hill AFB, UT until his passing. Raul was a quiet and strong man who had many loves. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting with family and friends, especially with his cousin Ramon and his three girls. He loved playing practical jokes and pranking his family, co-workers, and friends. He loved old Chevy pickups, especially his 63 and 72 models. He loved his hobbies like wood-working, leatherworking, and restoring antique miniature cars. Most of all he loved his family and he loved the Lord Jesus. He was a shining example of a loving and devoted husband, son, and father to all who knew him. He loved his siblings and his parents and his extended family. They were never far from his thoughts. Raul is deeply loved and missed. His family rejoices in the hope that is in the salvation of the Lord Jesus and will see him again. Raul is survived by his wife, Miriam; daughters Faith, Autumn, and Savannah; parents, Jesus and Martha; brother, JR; sister, Martha; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held in Mesa, AZ on October 7th and another will be held at the Foothills Community Christian School Chapel in Great Falls, MT on October 28th, at 1:00pm.
