Raymond Lee Macom's Obituary

Raymond Lee Macom, 65, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 19, 2014. He was born January 17, 1949 to Henry E. and Marie Dyer Macom in, Hayden, Colorado. He married Julie Evans on June 13, 1975 in Ogden, UT. Raymond graduated from Davis High School in 1975. Raymond served in the Navy from December 1968 to December 1972 ; after he separated from the Navy he started working for Hill Air Force Base in the Commissary; he then went into management in 1983 and moved to California, Germany, Idaho, Hawaii, and Washington State. He retired in 2003 and moved back to Utah where he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, trips to Mexico, the Denver Broncos and was an Ogden Raptors season ticket holder for many years. Raymond is survived by his wife, mother of Grand Junction, CO., one daughter from a previous marriage, two step-daughters, and two sisters; and one niece. He has seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a father, grandparents, and one nephew. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 - 36th Street, Ogden, UT.
