Reed Sharp Chadwick passed away peacefully at his home in Farr West, Utah on February 9,2025. He was born on September 5,1944 in Preston, Idaho the first of Don and Gladys Chadwick's 3 children, followed by Neil and Julie.

Reed graduated from Box Elder High School in 1963 and served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New England States Mission where he met his future wife, Peggy Stenberg. They were married in 1966 and had 2 children, Janette and Michael, who passed away in 2020. They divorced and he married Sandra Miller in 1978 and they had 3 children, James, Matthew, and Sharon, who passed away in 2023.

He began his career at Hill Field Air Force Base as a photographic repairman, worked as an auto body technician, delivered pre-hung doors for Wheelwrights, spent 13 years as a custodian with Ogden City Schools, and worked several years at Globe Seafoods and Weber State University.

Reed enjoyed square dancing, camping, fishing, Dutch-oven cooking, and attending family reunions in Idaho with his family. He was an enthusiastic model train hobbyist and loved working in his yard and sharing fruit and vegetables from his garden. He faithfully served in the church in many callings and was always willing to help anybody with anything that needed fixing.

He is survived by his daughter, Janette and her husband Scott, James and his wife Bobbi, and Matthew and his wife Lacy who all live in Utah. He was also proud of his 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2132 W. 2700 N. Farr West, UT 84404.Viewings will be held Friday February 14,2025 from 5-7 pm at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah and Saturday morning at 10:00 before the funeral service at the church.
