Rex M. Atwood, 72, passed away December 17, 2013. He was born June 12, 1941 to Rex S. Atwood and Bertha F. Atwood in Murray, UT. Rex graduated from Murray High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was discharged honorably in April 1981. He enjoyed bowling and taking weekend trips to Wendover. Rex is survived by his children, Crystal Dutton, Rex M. (Lisa) Atwood, and Tina Bartrop; nine grandchildren; his sisters, Sandra Hodges, Gloria Townsend and a brother, David Atwood. He was preceded in death by his parents and another brother, Douglas Atwood. A memorial service will be held at the V.F.W. Post 1481 907 West 12th Street in Ogden, Utah at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013. As per Rexs wishes Leavitts Mortuary will be handling the care of his cremation.
