Ric Sim, 65, passed away March 12, 2017 at his home. He was born May 8, 1951 to Arthur Sydney Sim and Dora Jones Sim in Coalville, Utah. Ric graduated from Evanston High School. He married Connie Jean Sim on St. Patricks Day in 1975 in Florida. Ric was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was skilled in hand carving pipes from antlers. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era to aid in equipment training. He was trained in driving any vehicle. Ric is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Bryan and Josuha; four sisters; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by son, David Sim; parents; and grandparents. Graveside services will be held at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT on March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. where military honors will be accorded.
