Richard Leo Bryner's Obituary

Richard Leo Bryner, age 72, passed away September 13, 2014 peacefully in his sleep. Richard was born February 11, 1941 to Hardison Redd Bryner and Mary Woolley Bryner in Price, Utah. Richard attended Eastern Utah College and BYU. He married Erica, his wife of 30 plus years, in March 1976. Richard enjoyed working and retired from the U.S. Forest Service as a Draftsman/Cartographer, was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Jazz and BYU sports. He also enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and other collectibles. Richard was a faithful and knowledgeable member of The Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was dedicated to his family and he was a friend to all. Richard is survived by Erica and his children Audrey, Scott (Wendy), Lana, Eric, Lisa (Jared Shaw), Marc and Ryan (Melanie), his siblings Robert (Dr.), Charlene and Wayne. 15 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Joyce and also a brother, Merrill. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rushton Heights Ward at 1550 E. Rushton St., Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held Thursday evening, September 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 - 36th St., Ogden, UT. and prior at the church on Friday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park. Visitation Information Date: Thursday, September 18, 2014 Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm 836 - 36th St. Ogden, UT Family will also meet with friends Friday from 10:00 am - 10:45 am prior to the service at: Rushton Heights LDS Ward 1550 E.
