Richard Wayne Jones passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. Rick was born August 31, 1952, to Cora and LeRoy Jones in Lynwood, California. He married Denice Ricketts; they were later divorced. From this marriage they had two beautiful children, Cydney and Max. Rick was a firefighter. He later worked at Western Zirconium from where he retired. During Ricks life he went on many hunts which he loved with all his heart along with his best friend Dennis Wheling. In his time off he spent many hours re-building and reloading his guns. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Rick had a deep laugh and a boisterous voice. He will truly be missed. Rick is survived by his children, Cydney (Justin) Barrow and Max Jones; and his seven grandchildren, whom he dearly loved. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cora Margie Wood; and his father, LeRoy Milton Jones. A Celebration of Life will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 1:00 pm.
