Richard Lee Millsap, 75, formally of Long Beach, California and resident of Ogden, Utah passed away on June 26, 2023 after a long battle with dementia and heart disease. Richard was born on January 7, 1948 in Germany to Ronald and Christine Millsap. He became a US citizen in 1967 and served honorably in the US Air Force. After his time in the service, he had a long career as an engineer in the mining industry. He was an avid photographer, and a respected wedding photographer for many years. Richard was father to three children, Amy (Millsap) Howard and David Millsap of North Carolina and Sierra Stiles-Stothers of Oregon. He has 5 grandchildren Zoe, Thomas, Lauryn, Danielle and Elizabeth. Richard was predeceased by both his parents; sister Renata Sanderfer; and brothers Walter and Dwight Millsap. He is survived by his sisters Carolyn Morley, Rosemarie Leonard and Barbara (Bobbie) Krambule. The family will hold a private memorial service on July 13, 2023.
