Richard Dale Stoker's Obituary

Oh Rickie, our lives were put on hold the morning of August 21, 2015 when you left us to go fishing with Mike and John. On July 17, 1956 you were brought into the proud loving arms of your mother Janet Weiss and Dale W. Stoker (Deceased) in Santa Cruz, CA. A little rebellious but yet quiet you made it through high school and then the Navy. Rick youve left such an impression on all of our lives; especially in the lives of your son Ryan Stoker and your daughter Jennifer Belt and the four beautiful grandchildren they had given you; your true pride and joys. You worked so hard and put everything into your work. You were so proud of your Rusty Nail Construction Company and it held true to its word we dont build no crap. Your body may have become weak but your heart never did. Rick, you always put others first and never yourself. You are the most selfless person we have ever known. There was never a time that you wouldnt do anything to help anyone including watching our kiddos, completing our honey do lists, or making sure everyone keeps in touch. Rick you are the glue to the family. Your tune in life was always so soft and mellow when ours was always loud and chaotic; somehow you always had a way of keeping us grounded. Always with a Pepsi in your hand, a smile on your face and a smart ass comment coming out of your mouth. Remembering your passion for darts, pool and fishing brings so many wonderful memories to mind, including how secretly competitive you were. Our hearts our truly empty and you will be greatly missed by so many people you left behind. Now it is your turn to tell Mike and John hi for us. We will never forget you; go drown as many worms as you want! And Remember Rickie Old Fishermen never die! They just smell that way!! We love you!
