Robert J. Buehler of Ogden, Utah, passed away on December 18, 2011. He was born December 4, 1924 in Ogden, son of John A. and Isabelle Hogge Buehler. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1943. Upon graduation he entered the Air Force and spent four years as a Flying Officer during WWII.Robert married Louise Bingham of Ogden, June 10, 1944 in Montgomery Alabama while he was in the Army Air Force Cadet School.He worked for Safeway in Ogden and later moved to Pocatello, Idaho. After five years there working for Okay Food Centers, he and the family moved to Boise, Idaho. He became Secretary Treasurer of the Boise Division of Okay Food Centers, a thirteen store chain of super markets. After selling this chain of super markets, he owned and operated Valley Food Fair of Boise for 10 years.Since his retirement in 1972 they lived in Island Park, Idaho for twenty-two years and moved back to Ogden in December 1995.He was a member of the LDS church, a lifetime member of the Elks Club and the Sportsman Club of Island Park.Robert is survived by two sons; Charles Barry Buehler, Jay Brad Buehler and daughters-in-law; Rose Buehler and Roxanne Buehler, all of Boise and Mrs. Donald (Jean) Bradshaw of Colorado Springs, CO.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise one son, Robert Jr., four brothers and four sisters.
