Robert Lynn Martini's Obituary

Our Beloved Robert (Bob) Lynn Martini, 67, passed away into the loving arms of his Father in Heaven surrounded by his family on April 6, 2014. He put up a valiant fight to overcome his health problems but it wasnt meant to be; the Lord had other plans for him. He was born to Edward Joseph and Beth Martini on October 23, 1946 in Ogden, Utah. Bob grew up in Clearfield, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High School and Weber State College. He married his sweetheart Dixie Porter on December 28, 1968. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 15, 1972 and were married for 45 years. They were blessed with four children and 12 grandchildren. Bob worked a short time at Hill Field Airbase and the IRS. He then became a letter carrier and retired after 35 years with the United States Post Office. He also worked in the theater business for many years. Bob loved camping and enjoyed many weekends at Sourdough with his family and friends. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and games. His family and friends will be walking down memory lane over and over remembering the man we have all came to love. He will never be far from our hearts and minds. Bob is survived by his wife, Dixie, his children: Shawn (fiance Heidi), Randy (Bridget), Melanie, Mike (Katie), and grandchildren.
