He graduated from Ogden High in 1960. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Wayne loved this country and what it stands for..Freedom! Wayne is survived by his wife, Marcia Ann Merrill; his dog, Kiska; wicked awesome daughters: Haley and Robyn Merrill; super grandsons: Cole Maltly, Jace Lemp; daughter, Wendy Magaw; grandsons: Justin, Tyrell, and Colten Nielsen.
