Robert Lewis Shurtliff, 67, passed away December 22, 2016 surrounded by those that loved him most. He was born February 22, 1949 to Robert C. Shurtliff and Carolyn Eggleston in Ogden, Utah. Robert graduated from Ogden High School in 1967. Following graduation he served in the Army. Robert was a true friend to everyone he met and was loved by many. He loved to tinker with his watches, jewelry, tools and woodworking. You could always find him with a welcoming smile and a diet coke. Robert is survived by his brother, Thomas (Vicki) Shurtliff; three sons, Robert Ryan (Leslie) Shurtliff, Jason Medina and Tony Shurtliff; grandchildren, Myranda, Tayleigh, Addyson and Dylan. He is preceded in death by parents, Robert C. and Carolyn Shurtliff and brother, Rodney. Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 pm.
