Robert Taylor, 77, passed away November 12, 2018. Robert was born October 27, 1940 to DeWitt and Ida Mae Drake-Taylor in Memphis, Tennessee. Robert graduated from Ogden High School. He married G. Pua Ohelo- Taylor. Robert was a loving husband and father. He loved cooking and was good at it. He served as a cook for Hill Air Force Base for a few years where they raved about his food. He also worked for Dayton of Ogden where he was the supervisor of production, until his retirement. He was also a construction foreman. He loved sports; his favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. He also loved traveling. His travels took him to many beautiful places (Hawaii, etc). He was an awesome brother. Robert is survived by his wife G. Pua Ohelo-Taylor; four sisters, Dora (Gene) Owens, Janice (James) Reeves, Carolyn Taylor, Brenda Taylor; six children Ida (John) Phillips, Lisa (Eric) Brown, Veronica (Sherr) Taylor, Shayna (Tae) Miles, Mary (Tierney) Fernandez, Albert Fernandez; a host of grand children and great- grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his parents DeWitt and Ida M. Taylor; brothers Darrell, Leon and Edward Taylor; sister Ora Armstrong. Funeral services will be held at New Zion Baptist Church 2935 Lincoln Ave, Ogden, Utah at 2:00 pm Saturday November 24, 2018 with a visitation held prior at 1:00 pm.
