Robert Toller, our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away July 19th 2012 surrounded by his family at the age of 86. Robert was born to Virgil C Toller and Annie Ione Paine, October 3, 1925, in Ogden Utah. Robert attended schools in Ogden and California. He graduated from Lawton High School, Lawton Oklahoma, in 1943. He completed his Associate Degree from Weber College in 1948. He served in the United States Navy during WWII.He met Gloria Maria Davila at a church function and they were married November 26th 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. Gloria passed away March 8, 2003. In 1954 he accepted a position in Civilian Personnel at Hill Air Force Base where he served in various supervisory positions including the Base Labor Relations Officer. He retired in 1987 after 36 years of Federal, Military and Civilian Service. After retirement Robert enjoyed hunting, golfing and traveling around the United States as well as abroad. He had a great love for his family and spent many happy hours with his children, and grandchildren. He often commented on his love for his family and how blessed he was to know and love his great grandchildren. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various ward and stake positions. At the time of his passing he was a High Priest in the Burch Creek Third Ward.Robert is survived by his son, Rob (Jean) Toller, Layton, four daughters, Colleen ( Alan) Brown, South Ogden: Marcia (John)Slater, Hyrum: Lorraine ( Richard) Gray, Henderson, NV: JoAnne (Steve) McBride, Nibley, 24 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren, one sister, LuAnn Child, and four brothers, Kenneth, Tim, Dan, and David Toller. Funeral services will be Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, where friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 7:30 and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
