Robert "Tony" Anthony
Milne
Nov 13, 1966 — Oct 14, 2026
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Anthony Milne (Tony) at the age of 59. Tony was born on November 13, 1966 and passed away on October 14, 2026.
One of the few advantages of knowing your time is coming to an end is being able to write your own obituary with the help of your family. I have chosen to do just that.
I was born in Ogden, Utah, and grew up in Layton before moving to Farmington when I was 12 years old. During my life I loved going fishing, camping and deer hunting with my family and riding my Mountain bike. Like any teenager I enjoyed going to rock concerts and partying with my friends. I worked at Utility Trailer as a welder until I became medically disabled and had to retire.
I married late in my life and was lucky to have been the father of two amazing children, Anthony {AJ} & Taijah. The happiest years of my life were spent raising my children. Besides all the camping and fun trips, we took together they were both crazy about animals. AJ got his first dog, a German Shepherd named Max in 2016 and after that they both continued to constantly get more pets. Their menagerie included cats, dogs, lizards, tarantulas, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, and hamsters.
I have a beautiful granddaughter named Iris, and I wish her the longest and best life ever. I hope she has as much fun with her parents as I know my children had with me. It hurts to know I won't be here to watch my grandchildren grow up.
Our family has always been there for each other no matter what had happened in our lives. Laurie and I had so much fun together when we were growing up. She always spoiled me and my kids and loved every minute of it. No one could ask for a better sister or aunt. My family really stuck by me when I needed it most after I ended up on Hospice and had a harder time taking care of myself.
My son, AJ preceded me in death. I loved my son so much and watching him pass away, knowing there was no way to help him, was more than I could handle. When AJ was passing away, he told me that when I went to heaven with him, he was going to take me traveling all around the world, just the two of us. He always made me feel special.
I will be leaving behind my daughter Taijah Milne, (Matt) and granddaughter Iris. My parents David & Charlotte Milne and my sister Laurie Milne.
We would like to thank True North Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care they have given Tony during his time on hospice. We couldn't have done it without them.
We would also like to thank our family for all the help and support they have given us while Tony was on hospice, helping to clean the house from the day I moved in with him, someone coming over to watch him occasionally so I could get away for a few hours, and it was so nice when they came over to say goodbye to him while he was still aware and could recognize them.
At Tony's request, there will be no viewing or services.
