Our wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Bobbie Johnson, departed from her beautiful earthly journey on September 11, 2016. She was born January 30, 1927, in Denver, Colorado to William J. and Violet Felbeck Mulligan. She was raised in Denver and graduated from South High School in 1945. Bobbie married Sydney C. Peacock on June 22, 1947, in Denver, Colorado. They moved to Utah in 1951, where she lived the rest of her life. Syd passed away in 1994. In 1995, Bobbie married Albert M. Johnson in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Riverdale but were snowbirds to Las Vegas every winter. Al passed away in 2001. Bobbie was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter P, Utah and a Past Matron of Queen Esther Chapter #4 Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her fellowship in the RODEOs (Retired Old Dames Eating Out). She is survived by two daughters and one son, Pamela Parks of Boise, ID, Carolyn (Robert) Koldewyn of Clinton, UT, and Sydney W. (Jolene) Peacock of Sandy, UT. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Bobbie was preceded in death by her daughter Claudette and one sister, Dorothy. The family sincerely thanks Sylvia and her staff at Country Pines and Autumn and Tonya from Symbii Hospice for their tender care of mom this past year. We also appreciate the members of the First United Methodist Church for all your love and fellowship with mom. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 12:00 noon to 12:45 PM. Interment following services at Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please honor Bobbies loving spirit by making donations to the P.E.O. Foundation for scholarships and grants (peointernational.org).
