Rodney Sundberg, 63, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2014. He was born September 4, 1951 to Carl and Laura (Massa) Sundberg in Murray, Utah. Rodney graduated in 1969 from Bonneville High School in Ogden. He then joined the Navy and served in Vietnam. He married Dianne Johnson in 1975. Rod worked for the IRS and later worked at Hill Air Force Base until his retirement. He proudly served in the Air Force Reserves until 2003. Rod also worked at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in South Ogden for 5 years. He is survived by his wife and partner, Dianne Sundberg of Ogden; his daughters: Misti (Toby) Ray, Syracuse; Elisebeth (Jason) Christiansen, Ogden; and Kristen (Alan) Arnold, Riverdale; four granddaughters; and his sister, Barbara Morrow of Evanston. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mindi, his sister Sondra Rodriguez, and his parents. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836-36th St., Ogden with a viewing one hour prior. Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions made in Rodneys name to The Wounded Warrior Project are also appreciated.
