Rodney John Tree's Obituary

Twig & Jean Gone Fishing Together Again Rodney John Tree passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 10, 2019. He was born November 21, 1933, in Syracuse, Utah, the son of Wilford and Margaret Tree. The only boy among five sisters. On October 26, 1957, he married his soulmate, Norma Jean Staker. Together they had two boys, Ralph and Roger Tree. The four of them spent countless hours hunting, fishing, camping, cheering on the Denver Broncos (all but Roger), and loving being together as a family. That family included blood relatives as well as anyone the four of them met and loved. Many of Ralph and Rogers friends considered Twig and Jean as second parents. Twig leaves behind both boys, Ralph (Kathi) Tree and Roger (Denise) Tree; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four of his five sisters. Preceding him was Jean his wife, Kristina Tree his spunky and sweet granddaughter, and one sister. Twig and Jean are together once more, catching up around the campfire. We miss you both so much and will hold you in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life will be held at Leavitts Mortuary on Thursday, April 18, 2019, from 6:00 8:00 pm. Celebration of Life Thursday, April 18, 2019 6:00 PM Leavitt's Mortuary 1401 East South Weber Drive Utah, South Weber- 84405
