Ronald Scott Jeppson, known for his quiet strength and abiding devotion to those around him, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Pleasant View, Utah. He was born on June 2, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, and from the beginning, his life was deeply rooted in family, friendship, and an unwavering sense of kindness.
Those who knew Ronald remember a man whose presence offered comfort and steady encouragement. His journey through life was graced with meaningful connections, especially with his beloved wife, Janette Jeppson. Together, they shared years marked by laughter, partnership, and enduring support for one another. Ronald also found profound joy and pride in his daughter, Casey Rudd, and his son-in-law, Josh Rudd, whose lives were continually brightened by his gentle guidance and sincere love.
Ronald’s bonds extended warmly to his brothers, Erold, Jeffrey, Todd, and Joseph Jeppson, each of whom shared in the unique brotherhood that shaped their lives. The family circle was complemented and further enriched by his sisters-in-law, Jessica and Heidi Jeppson, whose companionship brought deep resonance to family gatherings and daily life alike. To each of these cherished relatives, Ronald was a steadfast source of stability, rooted by the memory and example of his late parents, Ralph and Vicky Jeppson. Though they have preceded him in death, their influence was ever-present across Ronald’s days.
The essence of Ronald’s life was not just in milestones or achievements, but in the way he quietly uplifted those closest to him. He moved through the world with humility, a listening ear, and a generosity that often went unspoken, but always deeply felt. His legacy is profound: a family tightly knit together by loyalty and affection, and friends whose lives are brighter for having known him.
As we honor Ronald’s memory, we reflect on the gift of his steadfastness, the warmth in his smile, and the myriad ways he made us all feel seen and valued. His spirit endures in the stories shared around kitchen tables and in the gentle echoes of shared moments—reminders that though he has departed from our sight, his love and goodness remain woven into the fabric of our lives.
Ronald Scott Jeppson’s absence will be keenly felt, yet his memory stands as a beacon of what it means to care for and believe in one another. Those who survive him—his wife, Janette; his daughter, Casey, and son-in-law, Josh; his brothers, Erold, Jeffrey, Todd, and Joseph; and his sisters-in-law, Jessica and Heidi—will hold dear the values and love he so freely gave. And while we mourn, we do so with gratitude for a life so gently, yet powerfully, lived.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2132 W 2700 N, Farr West, Utah 84404.
