Obituary

Rose Ann Hiner Nielsen passed away unexpectedly March 11, 2012 from complications of a lingering illness.Rosie was born May 1, 1944 to Roy Franklin Hiner and Ann Louise Pellegrini Hiner in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Rosie came to Ogden as a young girl and made many friends and memories here. Rosie graduated Ogden High School in 1962.Rosie married the love of her life James C. Nielsen on Nov. 23, 1963. She had two sons James C. Jr. and Michael L., who were both the light of her life.Rosie was blessed with two careers she loved. First as a physical therapist aide for Don Krambule, and then as an executive assistant for Eccles Community Art Center. Rosie had many wonderful caring friends who all meant so much to her.Rosie is survived by her husband James, sons James Jr. (North Ogden), Michael (Ogden), and granddaughters Sierra Ann, and Lexie Marie (Layton) and Madison Brittney and McKi Jo (North Ogden). She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Franklin Joseph and Ray Hiner. A small graveside service will be held at Ogden City Cemetery per her request on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Eccles Community Art Center in Roses name.
