Ruayne M. Storey, 87, of Roy, was reunited with the love of her life on March 13, 2014. She was born in Ogden, UT on December 14, 1926 to George T. McElroy and Eliza Mason McElroy. Ruayne was raised in Oakland, CA until the age of 12 when she returned to Ogden with her mother. She graduated from Ogden High School. Ruayne married Max S. Storey on June 24, 1946 in Reno, NV, and they had one daughter. She worked for Sears for several years. Ruayne was a very creative lady and loved to paint, sew clothes, and create stuffed animals. Ruaynes joy was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Fahncke of Ogden; her two granddaughters and their spouses; SherRon and Kenneth Taylor and Amy and Mike Cojanis; great-grandchildren, Shawntel Norton and (James) and Jacob Taylor, and one great-great grandchild, Justin Norton. Ruayne was preceded in death by her father, mother, and husband. The family would like to thank the teams with Bristol Hospice and the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home for all of their care for Ruayne in her last months.
