Russell Nielsen BoeslundRussell Nielsen Boeslund, 87, passed away on February 10, 2013. He was born on August 25, 1925 to Jennie Sofie Nielsen and Aage Boeslund; in Ogden, Utah.Russell was proud to serve his country during WWII. He loved music and was called on many times to play the harmonica. He was accomplished in woodworking and was an awarded dancer. He retired from Defense Depot Ogden, and faithfully served in many different callings in the LDS Church. He is survived by his nieces and nephews. Russell was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Vernon, Norman, Bernice Carter and Irene Brewer. The family would like to thank his friends at Union Gardens, Emeritus Estates and Hospice for Utah; for their kindness and compassion. Graveside services for Russell will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, at 11:00 a.m. The family will meet friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
