Washington Terrace, Ruth Dewzon Baxter died in her home early Saturday morning on the 23rd day of November 2013 at the age of 83. She was the youngest child of Ephraim Wilcox and Mary Adlinda Woodward, born the 27th day of August, 1930 at LaSal, Utah. She was raised in LaSal on the family ranch and attended school in LaSal and Moab. She attended LDS Business College and worked for the Salt Lake City Police Department until her marriage to Charles A. Baxter on February 19, 1955 in Salt Lake City. They raised their children in Morgan, Utah; Montrose, Colorado and Grand Coulee, Washington while Charles worked for the Bureau of Reclamation. They retired back to Utah where they have enjoyed the love and companionship of each other and many loving grandchildren. Devoted service to her family was her life which always involved mounds of food and the best grandma hugs. Charles and Ruth served an LDS church education mission in Jamaica in 1997-98. Ruth served many years in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by his husband and children, Mary Dewzon (Stan) Strebel, Charles Dean (Emilie) Baxter, Janna Vvs (Brent) MacKay and her dog, Holly. She is preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings.

Family funeral services will be held graveside in Milford, Utah as per her wishes on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Interred at the family plot in Milford, Utah.
