Our Nana, Sandy Ray Timbrel Adamson, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 18, 2019. She was born April 30, 1946, to Lloyd and Helen Timbrel in Long Beach, CA.

Her family, including two brothers, Terry (Dolores) and Lance (Willow), and two sisters, Tina (Joe) and Kitty (Steve), lived in several places during her childhood, but eventually settled in Empire, NV, where she met her faithful husband, Robert Adamson. On July 24, 1965, Sandy and Robert joined hands and began to build their legacy. They moved to Gabbs, NV in 1967, where they raised their five children: Carol (John), Patrick (Lorinda), Nick (Shelly), Mindy (Theron), and Jessica (Mike). Their home was always open and they had many more kids come and go throughout the years. They lived in Gabbs until 2014, when they moved to Elko, NV to be closer to family.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Helen, her brother Terry, her sister-in-law Dolores, and her brother-in-law Lyle.

She leaves behind her husband, five children, 15 grandchildren, and 17.5 great-grandchildren.
