Sara Sue Graham Shrum Hiatt, 83, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026.

Born in Fredericktown, Missouri, to Pearl and Pete Graham, Sue always said she lived "three different lives,” her childhood in the rolling hills of Missouri, her adventurous years in Sun Valley, Idaho, and her final chapter in Ogden, Utah.

A fiercely independent, self-made woman, Sue turned a cross-country leap of faith into a successful career, retiring as Manager of Purchasing at Autoliv. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and kitties. She met life’s greatest joys and sorrows with humor, faith, and unmatched strength.

Sue was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Shelby Shrum and Allan "Al" Dwight Hiatt, daughter Terri Sue Shrum, and stepdaughter LaDonna Middlesworth.

She is survived by her son, Jude; stepchildren Jim, Scott & Jenn, Randy & Chelae, BJ, and Keith; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Monday, July 27, 2026 at 2pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St, Ogden, UT.
