IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott Douglas
Deason
April 13, 1970 – January 7, 2026
Scott Douglas Deason
1970 ~ 2026
Scott Douglas Deason, 55, passed away January 7, 2026, at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.
Scott was born April 13,1970 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Agana Heights, Guam to Earl Wayne Deason and Mary Pauline Marrow Deason.
Scott worked in construction throughout his life but loved his side hustles.
After his father's Air Force military transfer from Guam, his family reside in Carlsbad California where he attended elementary school and enjoyed playing baseball, riding his bike, and fishing with his dad. As a teenager his family made their final move to Hill Air Force Base, in Layton, Utah. Scott attended the Davis County Schools, graduating in 1989.
Scott enjoyed fishing with his dad, metal bands, and his friends. Our dad had a love of motorcycles, engines, and anything with wheels. He would take a frame and build a new motorcycle from there. Any small engine repair, he could do without hesitation. In earlier years Scott enjoyed riding his motorcycles on Washington Blvd, every weekend he could. And also hanging out at the old Hinkley Dodge with his friends. One of his favorite things to do was "rip the canyons" up to Trappers Loop, and back down the other side. He always enjoyed the time he spent with his two children. Rather it be fishing, his mornings with his daughter making his breakfast or his visits with his son, making them laugh with the stories he had come up with. We would often have to ask if some were true, and they were. In recent years, he has been enjoying his time with his children and three granddaughters. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Mary Deason, his brother Benny Deason, sister Deborah Deason Garlich, and brother-in-law Michael Garlich.
Scott is survived by his two children, daughter: Trinity E Darby-Deason-Palmer (Zachary), and son, Lucious Blake Lee. His three precious granddaughters Presley Ann, Salem Jay, and Harley MaRee. Two nephews; Michael Jr. and Phillip.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
Cremation care entrusted to Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403.
