Scott William Files, 51, our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and partner, has died suddenly, on March 1, 2018. He was born July 1, 1966 to William and Kathleen Files in Ogden, UT. He graduated from Bonneville High School. Scott lived many places and touched many lives, who like all of us found his humor to be an amazing part of his personality. His smile was constant and beautiful. Life was not easy for Scott at times, but he would carry on with a positive attitude and make it all good. He was a good son who always kept track of his parents. He was an ace photographer and his pictures were published in motorcycle racing magazines. He flew gliders, rode quads, fished, camped, and hunted. He is gliding again with his angel wings. He was always fun loving and a very adventurous soul and will be missed by many whose lives will be less without Scott. Scott is survived by his parents; brother, Dan Files (Leslie); Michele Southwick (Troy); and his love, Valerie Selleneit; daughters, Shandra Heaton-Sorenson and McKell Files; step-kids, Kevin Anderson and Mattea Anderson. A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., in Ogden. Family will greet friends from 1:00 1:45 pm prior the Celebration.
