On August 7, 2026, at 61 years of age, our treasured father, brother, grandfather and friend Scott Larsen passed away peacefully in his home.

Born in Englewood, Colorado on August 31, 1964, he was the third of five children born to Donna and Bruce Larsen. Growing up, Scott was involved in volleyball, church sports and activities, and fooling around with his friends. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1982.

Scott and his first wife, Tammy, welcomed his first daughter, Jennifer, into the world in 1985. During his second marriage, Scott welcomed his second daughter, Olivia, into the world in 2001. He spent his early twenties moving around the country working various jobs and making many friends. He began working as a mechanic in his mid-twenties and it quickly became his passion. He spent 30+ years working as an automotive technician, later becoming a master mechanic. Those that knew Scott know that he spent many weekends, evenings, and days off working on cars for family and friends. He was happy to use his God given talent to bless those in his life that needed it.

Scott was a hardworking, compassionate, and service-oriented man. He strived to be a good man who always helped others. Scott also struggled for many years of his life with various addictions and physical and mental challenges, but there were two things that he never struggled with; his love for his family, and his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. Scott worked tirelessly over the years to better himself, mend damaged relationships, and grow closer to our Savior.

In his free time, Scott enjoyed fishing and camping, as he found mental clarity being in nature. He also treasured his motorcycle and regularly went on rides through the beautiful Colorado mountains. Another passion of Scott’s was attending races at Bandimere and Colorado National Speedway, he took many family members and friends to races here throughout the years. His love for the Denver Broncos was strong until the end, most Sundays during the season you could find him camping on his couch, wearing his John Elway jersey.

In 2024, Scott made a major life change. He decided to attend rehab and get sober, followed by a move to Utah to be closer to his daughter Olivia, her husband Wyatt, and their children. He cherished these past few years as he got to spend time with his grandsons.

Scott is survived by his loving daughters, Olivia and Jennifer; 5 grandchildren; and his siblings, Lynn Reyes, James, Geraldine and Jeanette Larsen. Along with his two loving and loyal companions, Luna and Annie. Scott’s death was preceded by his wonderful parents, Bruce and Donna Larsen.

Scott’s life was full of beautiful blessings coupled with many worldly challenges. He was a great example to those around him, because although he lived a hard life with many trials, he continued to see the good in the world. While his health troubles truly challenged his spirit and mind, he believed in God’s plan of salvation and in eternal families, and knew that he would be okay in the end.

A celebration of life will be held honoring Scott on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 6pm, at 910 W. Ridge Rd., Littleton, CO 80210. This will be a time for family and friends to come together and speak of the impact Scott had to each of them. Dinner will be catered. Please RSVP to Olivia at (720) 352-0063.
