Our loving daughter Shalice Kay Stephens passed away on April 1, 2023. Born on July 11, 1991, she was always known for her infectious smile and energetic approach to life, Shalice was always a magnet to all that knew her. As a child she hung on her mothers arm and relished going to the mall for walks in the stroller chanting "shopping, shopping, shopping" in the car seat on the way. She loved dance competitions, riding on her fathers shoulders skiing and always lit up when she was at Bear Lake, riding the wave runners and spending time with her family. She had a special bond with all her family, grandparents, brothers, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. Gifts were her favorite way to express her love for others. She made a point to never forget a birthday or holiday for people in her life and always put a lot of effort into every gift, making them individual for the person with great thought.
It is very difficult to name all those who helped and supported her over the years. She has always been surrounded by caring people throughout her life and our family cannot thank them enough.
She was survived by her mother Sandy Boynton (Bill), father Scott Stephens (Toni), brothers Colby Stephens, Brandon Gill (Katie), sister Daryn Boynton, nieces Claire Stephens, Vivian Gill, Grandmother Beverly Watkins, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Sharon Scholer (Bruce), Ken Stephens (Joyce), Doug Adams (Kay), Mose Watkins and brother Nathan Stephens.
A memorial reception will be held in her honor in the banquet room at the Valley View golf course (2501 E Gentile St, Layton, UT 84040) on April 13, 2023, from 5-8 PM.
